Penilaian pabean

Penilaian pabean (bahasa Inggris: customs valuation) adalah suatu proses ketika petugas pabean menetapkan nilai terhadap suatu barang atau jasa untuk keperluan impor atau ekspor. Bagi para pengimpor, proses penentuan nilai ini bisa bermasalah, karena kriteria penentuan bea masuknya diselewengkan. Maka dari itu, anggota-anggota Organisasi Perdagangan Dunia telah menyepakati Perjanjian tentang Penerapan Pasal VII Perjanjian Umum Tarif dan Perdagangan 1994 (juga disebut "Perjanjian Penilaian Pabean") yang terlampir di dalam Persetujuan Marrakesh. Tujuannya adalah agar penilaian pabean dapat dilaksanakan dengan adil dan seragam.
