Pelengkung korbel

Pelengkung Korbel adalah konstruksi yang menyerupai metode pelengkung yang menerapkan teknik arsitektur korbel untuk menutup di atas struktur bentangan, seperti pintu masuk, gerbang, tembok, atau rentangan jembatan. Kolong lorong korbel adalah teknik untuk menopang superstruktur atau atap suatu bangunan.

Pelengkung korbel dibangun dengan menggunakan tumpukan batu atau bata yang secara berurutan bergeser dari dinding penopang menuju bagian tengah pelengkung, sampai akhirnya bertemu di bagian tengahnya. Seringkali celah terakhir dijembatani dengan batu datar pengunci. Untuk membuat kolongan atau lorong korbel, maka konstruksi ini dilanjutkan secara tiga dimensi sepanjang dua dinding yang saling berhadapan.
