Jenderal KPA Pak Yong-sik adalah seorang perwira militer Korea Utara dan politisi dari Partai Buruh Korea (WPK), yang sekarang sedang menjabat sebagai Menteri Pertahanan Korea Utara.

Karier

Pak Yong-sik terpilih sebagai wakil direktur dari Departemen Politik Umum Tentara Rakyat Korea kira-kira sebelum Januari 2015,^[1]^[2] setelah sebelumnya menjabat sebagai anggota resmi Kementerian Keamanan Rakyat.^[3] Dia dipromosikan menjadi Jenderal pada April 2015,^[4] dan tak lama setelahnya ia mengambil alih kursi Menteri Tentara Rakyat Korea setelah pendahulunya, Hyon Yong-chol, dieksekusi karena melakukan pembangkangan. Kenaikan pangkatnya dipublikasikan secara umum hanya pada bulan Juli.^[5]
