Metropolitan Nikodim (nama sekuler Boris Georgiyevich Rotov, bahasa Rusia: Борис Георгиевич Ротов, 15 Oktober 1929 – 5 September 1978),[1] adalah metropolitan Ortodoks Rusia Leningrad dan Novgorod dari 1963 sampai kematiannya.

Ia lahir di Frolovo di barat daya Rusia.[2]

Menurut Arsip Mitrokhin, yang mengklaim terjadi penetrasi Komunis di Gereja Ortodoks Rusia, Metropolitan Nikodim adalah seorang agen KGB, yang bekerja dengan nama kode "Adamant",[3] yang melakukan aktivitas ekumenikal dengan Gereja Katolik Roma dan Dewan Gereja-Gereja Sedunia (DGS) yang menjabat untuk tujuan-tujuan Soviet lebih lanjut. Diangkat pada 1960 di usia 31 tahun, ia menjadi uskup termuda dalam dunia Kristen pada waktu itu, ia kemudian menjadi salah satu dari enam presiden DGS.[4]

Metropolitan Nikodim berkata telah berpartisipasi dalam menegotiasiasikan sebuah perjanjian rahasia 1960an antara Soviet dan para pejabat Vatikan yang mengotoritaskan partisipasi Ortodoks Timur dalam Konsili Vatikan Kedua dalam pertukaran non-kondemnasi komunisme ateistik pada majelis-majelis konsiliar.[5][6]

Ia pingsan dan meninggal pada 1978 ketika di Roma untuk bertemu dengan Paus Yohanes Paulus I. Paus baru, yang dirinya sendiri meninggal beberapa minggu kemudian, mendoakannya dalam momen-momen terakhirnya.[7]
