"Money" adalah lagu oleh rapper dan penyanyi Thailand, dan anggota Blackpink Lisa dari album single debutnya Lalisa (2021). Lagu ini dirilis oleh YG Entertainment dan Interscope Records pada 10 September 2021. Lirik untuk lagu tersebut ditulis oleh Bekuh Boom dan Vince, dengan musik yang disusun oleh mereka bersama 24 dan R. Tee.

Latar belakang dan komposisi

Pada tanggal 25 Agustus 2021, YG Entertainment mengumumkan bahwa Lisa akan melakukan debut solonya dengan album single berjudul setelah nama aslinya, Lalisa.[1] "Money" dikonfirmasi dengan daftar lagu dari album tunggal pada 6 September. Selain itu, dijelaskan bahwa lagu tersebut akan menjadi lagu hip hop.[2] Lirik lagu ini ditulis oleh Bekuh Boom dan Vince, dan musiknya disusun oleh mereka bersama 24 dan R. Tee.[3] Liriknya adalah lagu sombong tentang menjadi kaya dan menghabiskan uang.[4] Lagu ini disusun dalam kunci C minor dan membawa tempo 140 ketukan per menit.[5] Nolan Feeney dari Billboard menjelaskan bahwa musik dari lagu tersebut dekat dengan "rap Amerika kontemporer" dan "dibangun di sekitar lingkaran tanduk yang lesu."[6]

Kritikan

Respon kritik

"Money" menerima tinjauan beragam dari kritikus musik. Menulis untuk NME, Rhian Daly menyebut lirik lagu itu "cringe-y at best" dan mengatakan bahwa Lisa "tidak dapat melakukan braggadocio yang diperlukan untuk membuat Anda iri pada tumpukannya."[4] Di sisi lain, Anwaya Mane dari Pinkvilla menggambarkan lagu itu sebagai "rap yang halus, mengalir dan percakapan" yang menunjukkan sisi berbeda Lisa.[7]
