Minggu Emas (Tiongkok)

Minggu Emas (黄金周) atau Golden Week di Republik Rakyat Tiongkok adalah nama untuk dua libur nasional yang masing-masing lamanya 7 hari:

Kedua libur Minggu Emas ini berlaku mulai tahun 2000.[1]

Perayaan Hari Buruh dulunya merupakan Minggu Emas, namun diperpendek menjadi 3 hari sejak tahun 2008.[2]

Liburan panjang Minggu Emas sekitar Hari Buruh dan Minggu Emas sekitar Hari Nasional dimulai sejak tahun 1999 dengan maksud untuk mendorong konsumsi dan meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan domestik,[2] serta memudahkan orang melakukan perjalanan jauh untuk mengunjungi keluarga. Sekitar 28 juta orang bepergian selama Minggu Emas Hari Nasional pada tahun 1999.[3] Bagi produser film, liburan Minggu Emas Hari Nasional juga merupakan masa panen,[4] bioskop-bioskop ramai dipenuhi penonton.
