Mai Mizuhashi (水橋 舞, Mizuhashi Mai, lahir 31 Januari 1992), yang lebih dikenal dengan nama panggungnya MARiA (メイリア, Meiria), adalah seorang penyanyi, penulis lagu, penari, perancang kostum, dan peraga busana asal Prefektur Ibaraki, Jepang. Aslinya adalah anggota grup musik, Mizuhashi meraih ketenaran dalam memposting video-video pada situs web Jepang Niconico. Ia adalah bagian dari duo pop rock Garnidelia.[1]

Biografi

Mizuhashi memulai kariernya sebagai anggota grup musik Harajuku BJ Girls, kemudian dikenal sebagai Chix Chicks. Ketika menjadi anggota grup musik ini, Mizuhashi menampilkan sejumlah lagu tema pembuka dan penutup dari serial anime berbeda, seperti "Brand New Morning" yang digunakan sebagai lagu tema pembuka serial televisi anime 2006 Kamisama Kazoku, "Yumemiru Otome" (夢みる乙女, Dream Maiden) yang digunakan sebagai lagu tema penutup serial televisi anime 2007 Dōjin Work,[2] dan "Kaze no Message" (風のメッセージ, Message of the Wind) yang digunakan sebagai lagu tema penutup kedua serial televisi anime 2007 Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl.[3]

Setelah pembubaran Chix Chicks' pada 2010, Mizuhashi meneruskan perjalanan kariernya sebagai penyanyi solo dengan mengepos video pada situs web Jepang Niconico, tempat ia menarik perhatian produser musik Yoshinori Abe, dikenal juga sebagai Toku. Toku membuat singel Mizuhashi berjudul "Color" yang digunakam sebagai lagu tema pembuka serial televisi anime 2010 Freezing. Keduanya kemudian membentuk unit musik Garnidelia yang membuat debut utamanya pada 2013 dengan singel "Ambiguous", digunakan sebagai lagu tema pembuka kedua serial televisi anime Kill la Kill.[4]
