Laima Balaišytė (nama lain Laima Amelin; lahir 3 Januari 1948) adalah mantan pemain tenis meja putri asal Lithuania.

Karier tenis meja

Dia memenangkan medali perak di Kejuaraan Tenis Meja Dunia 1967 di Piala Corbillon (acara tim wanita) dengan Svetlana Grinberg, Signe Paisjärv dan Zoja Rudnova untuk Uni Soviet.[1][2][3]

Dua tahun kemudian dia memenangkan medali emas di Kejuaraan Tenis Meja Dunia 1969 di Piala Corbillon (acara tim wanita) dengan Grinberg, Rudnova dan Rita Pogosova untuk Uni Soviet.[4][5]

Dia adalah Juara Nasional Uni Soviet pada tahun 1962 dan 1964.

Kehidupan pribadi

Dia menikah dengan sesama tenis meja internasional Anatoly Amelin.
