Kelechi Janji Iheanacho (lahir 13 Oktober 1996) adalah pemain sepak bola profesional Nigeria yang bermain untuk klub Inggris Leicester City.[4][5][6] Dia telah tampil untuk Manchester City U-21,[7] serta skuad Nigeria yang memenangkan Piala Dunia FIFA 2013 U-17 dan Nigeria tim U-20 di Piala Dunia FIFA 2015.[8][9] Iheanacho juga telah dipanggil ke skuad senior Manchester City untuk musim 2015 -16.[10][11]

Karier klub

Sebagai seorang pemuda Iheanacho mewakili Taye Academy di Owerri. Penampilannya untuk Nigeria di Piala Dunia FIFA 2013 U-17 menyebabkan minat dari klub-klub di Eropa. Diantaranya termasuk Arsenal,[12] Sporting Lisboa dan Porto.[13] Pada Desember 2013 Iheanacho ke Inggris untuk membicarakan kepindahan ke Manchester City. Dia menandatangani perjanjian pra-kontrak dengan klub, menyatakan niatnya untuk secara resmi menandatangani bersama Manchester City pada hari ulang ke-18 bulan Oktober 2014.[14] Untuk sementara, ia kembali ke Nigeria. Pada tahun yang sukses itu, Konfederasi Sepak Bola Afrika memenangkan sebagai Most Promising Talent of the Year for 2013 di CAF Awards.[15]

Manchester City

Pada tahun 2014, Iheanacho menandatangani kontrak untuk City. Sebelum musim 2014-15, Manchester City mengunjungi Amerika Serikat pada tur pra-musim. Meskipun masih belum secara resmi sebagai pemain Manchester City, Iheanacho sudah bergabung dengan skuad. Ia bermain dan mencetak gol di pertandingan tur pertama, menang 4-1 melawan Sporting Kansas City.[16]

Pada 12 September 2015 ia mencetak gol pertama kompetitif nya untuk Manchester City setelah datang pada menit ke-90 untuk penghargaan mereka menang melawan Crystal Palace di Selhurst Park.
