Kecerdasan spiritual

Kecerdasan spiritual (bahasa Inggris: spiritual quotient, disingkat SQ) adalah kecerdasan jiwa yang membantu seseorang untuk mengembangkan dirinya secara utuh melalui penciptaan kemungkinan untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai positif.[1]

SQ merupakan fasilitas yang membantu seseorang untuk mengatasi persoalan dan berdamai dengan persoalannya itu.[2] Ciri utama dari SQ ini ditunjukkan dengan kesadaran seseorang untuk menggunakan pengalamannya sebagai bentuk penerapan nilai dan makna.[1]

Kecerdasan spiritual yang berkembang dengan baik akan ditandai dengan kemampuan seseorang untuk bersikap fleksibel dan mudah menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan, memiliki tingkat kesadaran yang tinggi, mampu menghadapi penderitaan dan rasa sakit, mampu mengambil pelajaran yang berharga dari suatu kegagalan, mampu mewujudkan hidup sesuai dengan visi dan misi, mampu melihat keterkaitan antara berbagai hal, mandiri, serta pada akhirnya membuat seseorang mengerti akan makna hidupnya.[1][2]
