Jopi Teguh Lasmana Perangin-Angin


Jopi Teguh Lasmana Perangin-Angin adalah seorang aktivis lingkungan.[1] Ia lahir di Kisaran, Sumatera Utara pada 19 Maret 1976, anak kedua dari tiga bersaudara. Jopi merupakan anak laki-laki satu-satunya di dalam keluarga. Jopi menimba ilmu di Sekolah Dasar (SD) tahun 1982, menyelesaikan SMA di Kisaran pada tahun 1994. Jopi melanjutkan kuliah di Fakultas Hukum Universitas Tadulako di Palu pada tahun 1995, resmi menyandang titel sebagai Sarjana Hukum (SH) pada tahun 2003.[2] Ia pernah mengikuti beberapa pendidikan non formal antara lain sebagai peserta Training of Trainer Civic Education, Training Investigasi Bisnis Militer, Kursus Monitoring Hak Asasi Manusia, Pelatihan Penilaian Lapangan untuk Sertifikasi Kayu, Pelatihan Hak Asasi Manusia (HMA) untuk Lembaga Indonesia di New Zealand, Pelatihan HAM Internasional di Kanada dan pelatihan lainnya di tingkat nasional atau internasional.[2] Ia pernah bekerja di beberapa lembaga non-pemerintah, antara lain Wahana Lingkungan Hidup Sulawesi Tengah, Aliansi Masyarakat Adat Nusantara, Sawit Watch dan Greenpeace.[3] Ia meninggal pada tanggal 23 Mei 2015 di Rumah Sakit Pusat Pertamina, disebabkan luka tusuk di bagian paru-paru.[2][4]
