Susana Jamaladinova (bahasa Armenia: Սուսաննա Ջամալադինովա; bahasa Tatar Krimea: Susana Camaladinova; bahasa Ukraina: Сусана Джамаладінова, kelahiran 27 Agustus 1983), yang lebih dikenal dengan nama panggungnya Jamala (bahasa Armenia: Ջամալա, bahasa Tatar Krimea: Camala, bahasa Ukraina: Джамала), adalah seorang penyanyi dan penulis lagu Ukraina.[1] Ia mewakili Ukraina dan memenangkan Kontes Lagu Eurovision 2016 dengan lagu "1944".

Kehidupan dan karier

Kehidupan awal

Susanna Jamaladinova lahir di Osh, RSS Kirghiz, dari seorang ayah Tatar Krimea dan seorang ibu Armenia.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] Leluhur dari pihak ibunya berasal dari Nagorno-Karabakh.[9] Keluarga buyutnya terpaksa pindah ke Kirgiz pada masa pemerintahan Josef Stalin.[10] Setelah kemerdekaan Ukraina, keluarganya kembali ke Krimea.[10]
