Istri Manoah

Pemberitaan terhadap Istri Manoah karya Tintoretto.

Istri Manoah adalah sebuah figur tanpa nama dalam Kitab Hakim-Hakim. Ia diperkenalkan dalam Hakim–Hakim 13:2 sebagai wanita mandul. Malaikat Allah muncul di hadapannya dan berkata kepadanya bahwa ia akan memiliki seorang putra. Ia kemudian melahirkan Simson.[1]

Tradisi Rabbinik kuno mengidentifikasikan wanita tersebut sebagai Hazelelponi yang disebutkan 1 Tawarikh 4:3, meskipun Talmud mengidentifikasikan ibu Samson sebagai wanita bernama "Tzelelponit" (bahasa Ibrani: צללפונית‎).
