INXS (diucapkan "in excess", In-X-S) adalah sebuah band rock Australia yang dibentuk dengan nama The Farriss Brothers tahun 1977 di Sydney, New South Wales.[1][2] Personel yang masih menetap di band ini adalah Garry Gary Beers (gitar bas), Andrew Farriss (kibor), Jon Farriss (drum) Tim Farriss (gitar utama) dan Kirk Pengilly (gitar/saksofon).[3] Selama 20 tahun, mereka dilengkapi Michael Hutchence sebagai vokal utama, yang penampilannya di panggung berhasil menjadikannya pusat perhatian di band ini.[1][3] Awalnya dikenal karena gaya New Wave/ska/pop, kemudian mereka mengambil gaya pub rock yang lebih keras,[1] termasuk elemen funk dan tari.
