Hasrat seksual

Hasrat seksual adalah kondisi terkait motivasi dan minat pada objek atau aktivitas seksual, atau sebagai keinginan, atau dorongan untuk mencari objek seksual atau untuk terlibat dalam suatu aktivitas seksual.[1] Istilah lain yang berkaitan dengan hasrat seksual adalah libido, ketertarikan seksual, dan nafsu seksual.[2] Hasrat seksual merupakan aspek seksualitas seseorang, yang sangat bervariasi antara satu orang dengan orang lainnya, dan juga bervariasi tergantung pada keadaan pada waktu tertentu. Tidak setiap orang mengalami hasrat seksual; mereka yang tidak memiliki hasrat seksual dapat dianggap sebagai aseksual.

Hasrat seksual mungkin merupakan satu-satunya peristiwa seksual yang paling umum dalam kehidupan seseorang.[1] Hasrat seksual adalah keadaan perasaan subjektif yang dapat dipicu oleh impuls internal dan eksternal, tetapi tidak selalu terwujud atau diakhiri dengan ektivitas seksual.[3] Hasrat seksual dapat dibangkitkan melalui imajinasi dan fantasi seksual, atau mempersepsikan seseorang yang dianggap menarik.[4] Hasrat seksual juga diciptakan dan diperkuat melalui ketegangan seksual, yang disebabkan oleh hasrat seksual yang belum terwujud.

Penggunaan fantasi dan imajinasi pemikiran seksual adalah bagian penting dari hasrat seksual yang berfungsi dengan baik. Beberapa manifestasi fisik hasrat seksual pada manusia adalah; menjilati, mengisap, mengerut dan menyentuh bibir, serta menjulurkan lidah.[5]
