Giacomo Simoncini (lahir 30 November 1994)^[1] adalah seorang politikus, ahli farmasi dan petinggi olahraga San Marino yang menjabat sebagai Wali Kapten San Marino bersama Francesco Mussoni mulai dari 1 Oktober 2021 hingga 1 April 2022. Dia adalah pemimpin negara termuda di dunia, dan juga satu-satunya kepala negara di bawah usia 30 tahun pada 2021. Ia merupakan anggota dari Partai Sosialis dan merupakan anggota Dewan Agung dan Umum mewakili aliansi politik Noi per la Repubblica sejak tahun 2019.

Biografi

Simoncini lahir dan besar di Borgo Maggiore di San Marino. Ia merupakan lulusan farmasi dan memperoleh kualifikasi sebagai guru kimia.^[2]

Pada usia 18 tahun, ia mendaftar ke Partai Sosialis San Marino, dan setahun kemudian menjadi anggota dewan eksekutif.^[2]

Setelah pemilihan politik pada tahun 2019, Simoncini menjadi Anggota Dewan Agung dan Umum untuk aliansi politik Noi per la Repubblica dan menjadi anggota Dewan XII dan Komisi Dewan.

Ia juga menjadi Dewan Direksi SS Murata sejak 2017 dan manajer tim futsal nasional San Marino sejak 2018.^[3] Ia jua merupakan seorang Rotarian dan Presiden Klub Rotaract San Marino.^[2]
