Gereja Bunda Maria Diangkat ke Surga[1] (bahasa Prancis: Église Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption de Lorient )[2] adalah sebuah gereja Katolik yang dibangun sekitar tahun 1850, terletak di pulau Saint-Barthélemy,[3] di distrik Lorient. Menara loncengnya dilindungi dengan gelar Monumen Bersejarah.

Gereja Bunda Maria Diangkat ke Surga didirikan sekitar tahun 1724. Kemudian diratakan dengan tanah oleh swasta, hanya untuk dibangun kembali pada tahun 1820, dengan bantuan gubernur kolonial Swedia, dan sekali lagi pada tahun 1871 oleh Pastor Couturier. Candi ini mengalami kerusakan akibat gempa bumi pada tanggal 4 November 1974. Hal ini memerlukan perbaikan besar-besaran pada balok, dinding, dan tirai pada tahun 1988.

Pekarangan gereja

Menara lonceng, dibangun pada tahun 1850, berfungsi sebagai tempat perlindungan bagi para pelaut. Lonceng dibunyikan pada tahun 1860 di Nantes.
