Distribusi film

Distribusi film (bahasa Inggris: Film distribution), adalah proses untuk membuat sebuah film menjadi tersedia untuk dilihat oleh penonton. Ini biasanya merupakan tugas distributor film profesional, yang akan menentukan strategi pemasaran untuk film, media di mana film dapat dipamerkan atau dibuat tersedia untuk dilihat, dan yang dapat menetapkan tanggal rilis dan hal-hal lainnya. Sebuah film mungkin akan dipamerkan secara langsung kepada masyarakat baik melalui bioskop atau televisi, atau hiburan pribadi (termasuk VHS, video-on-demand, unduh, program televisi melalui siaran sindikasi dll). Untuk proyek-proyek komersial, distribusi film biasanya disertai dengan promosi film tersebut.[1][2][3]
