P 26/40 merupakan sebuah tank berat buatan Italia untuk Royal Italian Army selama Perang Dunia II.

Huruf "P" mewakili "Pesante" artinya "Berat" dan angka "26" artinya bobot dari tank ini, 40 artinya tahun desain tank ini.[2] Tank ini diproduksi dalam rentang waktu 1943-1944, tetapi Italia sudah melakukan gencatan senjata dengan Sekutu terlebih dahulu sehingga hanya sedikit saja yang diproduksi.

Awalnya direncanakan 1.200 unit tank yang akan diproduksi, lalu turun menjadi 500 unit tank dikarenakan banyak kekurangan pada mesin serta serangan Sekutu di pabrik SPA, Turin. Hingga akhirnya hanya 100+ unit tank yang berhasil diproduksi namun sebagian itu juga dipakai oleh Jerman Nazi.
