CKG48 (Chungking48, dulunya CHQ48/Chongqing48[1]) adalah sebuah grup idola Tiongkok asal Chongqing/Chungking, dan grup saudari keempat dari SNH48 setelah BEJ48, GNZ48 dan SHY48. Grup tersebut diumumkan pada 2 Juni 2017[2] dan para anggotanya diperkenalkan pada 17 Oktober 2017. Teater tempat mereka tampil terletak di Chongqing Guorui Center di Chongqing, China.

Sejarah

Pada Desember 2018, teater tersebut ditutup akibat rendahnya jumlah kedatangan. Pembubaran CKG48 diumumkan pada konser "Request Time" SNH48 group pada Januari 2019, bersama dengan SHY48 dan Team Ft SNH48. Seluruh anggota grup yang tersisa dipindahkan ke SNH48, BEJ48, GNZ48, atau Idols Ft.

Pada Maret 2019, mantan staff CKG48 mengumumkan kembalinya grup ini, dengan menyertakan anggota Idols Ft yang terpilih untuk kembali tampil. CKG48 kemudian mulai melakukan pertunjukan rutin di berbagai teater sementara dan belum diakui sebagai bagian dari SNH48 group, sehingga grup ini tidak dapat mengikuti acara tahunan SNH48, seperti pemilihan umum dan Request Time.[3]

Pada Juli 2024, bersamaan dengan pembukaan teater CGT48, diumumkan bahwa CKG48 akan segera memiliki teater baru. Bersamaan dengan itu, grup ini mengubah warna logonya menjadi emas.
