Ali Mufiz (lahir 21 Juli 1944) adalah seorang akademisi dan politikus Indonesia. Ia adalah Gubernur Jawa Tengah sejak 28 September 2007 sampai dengan 2008. Mufiz menjadi gubernur setelah gubernur sebelumnya, Mardiyanto, diberhentikan dengan hormat karena diangkat menjadi Menteri Dalam Negeri Indonesia.[1] Ia merupakan wakil gubernur pada masa pemerintahan Mardiyanto. Di luar bidang politik, Mufiz juga merupakan dosen Administrasi Negara di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Diponegoro.

Seorang lulusan FISIP Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) (1971) dan Universitas Southern California (Master of Public Administration, 1987), Mufiz pernah diangkat sebagai Sekretaris Jurusan Administrasi FISIP Undip (1981-1984) dan Ketua Program Studi Administrasi Negara (1984-1993). Selain itu, ia juga pernah menjabat sebagai Sekretaris Yayasan Badan Wakaf Sultan Agung, Ketua MUI Jateng sampai Wakil Ketua PW NU Jateng.
