Alexander Fadin


Alexander Fadin Mikhailovich (bahasa Rusia: Александр Фадин Михайлович;10 Oktober 1924 - 10 November 2011) adalah seorang perwira Uni Soviet dan Rusia. Ia berjasa selama Perang Patriotik Besar sebagai komandan sebuah T-34, bagian dari Batalyon Tank ke-207, Brigade Tank Pengawal ke-22, Korps Tank Pengawal ke-5.

Dengan didukung oleh sebuah peleton infanteri, Fadin berhasil menguasai Desa Dashukovka serta menahan serangan Jerman selama 5 jam hanya dengan 1 Tank. Ia sempat menghancurkan sebuah tank Tiger I, sebuah meriam gerak sendiri Ferdinand, membunuh kurang lebih 50 tentara Jerman, serta berhasil menembak jatuh sebuah pesawat Jerman.

Dalam permainan komputer World of Tanks, salah satu nama penghargaannya bernama "Fadin Medal". Penghargaan tersebut diberikan kepada pemain yang menghancurkan musuh terakhir dengan proyektil terakhir dalam amunisi.
